  • The committee does not provide any templates for statement nor recommendation letter. The applicants can use their own templates or letters provided by their institutions or universities.
  • The recommendation letter should contain statements about the applicant (at least name, major/faculty, semester) and recommendation by university.
  • The statement letter must explain the availability of the applicants to attend the entire program of BDSC III in Bali (4 – 7 December 2019) and it must be signed with a stamp duty

Both recommendation and statement letters must be in the Indonesian language or English.

Letter of recommendation is mandatory for the application.

For the format of the documents, please refer to the requirement that has been stated on our website.

  • TOEFL / IELTS or TOEFL Prediction certificates are not required. However, we will give more consideration for those who include it.
  • The essay must be written in English.
  • The length of the essay is max 650 words.
  • It must elaborate not only about the theory of democracy but also your opinion related to “Democracy and Inclusivity: Youth and Inclusive Digital
  • Democracy”.
  • A 30-second Profile Video uploaded into social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube), and please put the link of the video in the application form.
  • The video must be delivered in English containing a short self-introduction, a brief view about democracy and inclusivity, and a closing statement.
